Team workshops · Los Angeles

Build trust, communication, and presence — in a room your team will never forget.

A facilitated team experience built on the skills every great team runs on: reading each other, leading without forcing, staying present under pressure. We teach it through the one art form built entirely on those skills — Argentine tango.

No dance experience needed. No-contact format available.

Move your cursor here — this is the whole idea.

Your team has done the escape room. The cooking class. The ropes course, twice.

The point isn't the dance

What your team actually learns

Tango is the vehicle. Every exercise maps to a skill your team uses Monday morning.

Leading without forcing

The hardest leadership lesson there is, taught the only way it really sticks — by feeling the difference between directing a partner and steamrolling one.

Following without going passive

Active, engaged followership is half of every functioning team — and almost never trained. Here, it's the main event.

Reading the room. Literally.

Tango is nonverbal attunement under time pressure. Your team will feel how much they say without a word — and get better at it in real time.

Presence

No phones. No multitasking. No hiding in the back. Everyone in the room, fully, for the first time in a long time.

Two ways to run it

Connection & Communication

No physical contact

The entire experience — leading, following, attunement, presence — taught through mirroring, partnered walking, and intention exercises. No embrace at any point.

  • Comfortable for every group and every HR policy
  • Nobody sits out feeling singled out
  • Same lessons, zero contact

The Full Tango Experience

Respectful open embrace

A respectful open-embrace format — distance kept, partners rotated frequently, opting out always easy and invisible. The deepest version of the lesson.

  • Everyone tries both roles — leading and following
  • Partners rotate; nobody is paired off for the hour
  • We brief you on exactly what's involved before you book

Not sure which fits? That's a two-minute conversation. We'll recommend the right one and walk you through exactly what's involved — no surprises for you or your people.

Formats & group size

From icebreaker to leadership program

60–90 minutes

The Icebreaker

The start of an offsite, or the energy reset in the middle of one. High energy, zero prerequisites, everyone in.

Half day

Leadership Through Connection

A deeper intensive with a facilitated debrief, tying every exercise back to how your team actually works together.

The Series

For teams that want lasting change, not a one-off. A cadence of sessions that builds skill and culture over time.

We host groups from small leadership teams to large departments. Tell us your headcount — we'll scale it.

Where it happens

Our floor, or yours

Our studio in Inglewood

A dedicated space built for exactly this — room to move, the right floor underfoot, easy parking, minutes from LAX and the South Bay. Your team walks into a space that already feels like an occasion.

Or we come to you

Conference room, rooftop, retreat venue — we bring the full experience to your location anywhere in the greater Los Angeles area. All we need is floor space and your people.

We're not a corporate-fun vendor that added tango to a menu. We're a working tango school that learned to speak business.

When you book us, you get instructors who teach this for a living — people who can make a nervous accountant feel like a natural in ten minutes. That's a skill, and it's the whole job.

Good questions

What organizers usually ask

Does anyone need dance experience?

No. Every session is built for complete beginners, and our instructors' entire craft is making first-timers feel capable in the first ten minutes. If anything, mixed-experience groups are the most fun.

What should people wear?

Whatever they wore to work. Comfortable shoes are the only real note — no heels required, sneakers are fine. Nobody changes clothes and nobody needs gear.

What if someone doesn't want to participate — or can't?

Opting out of any exercise is always easy and never singled out; there's a solo or observer version of everything. The no-contact format works for every mobility level, and we're happy to adapt for specific needs — just mention it when you book.

Is there really no touching in the no-contact format?

Really. The Connection & Communication format teaches the full lesson — leading, following, attunement — through mirroring, partnered walking, and intention exercises with no physical contact at any point. It's our most-booked corporate format.

What do you need if we host at our office?

Clear floor space — roughly a conference room's worth for a small team, more for larger groups — and a way to play music. Hard floor is ideal but carpet works for the no-contact format. We bring everything else.

How many people can you handle?

From leadership teams of six to departments of sixty-plus. Larger groups get additional instructors so the ratio stays right. Tell us your headcount and we'll design around it.
